Tony Hawk (aka “Birdman”), is an American pro skateboarder who is the most influential figure in the sport. By age 25, Tony had won a record 73 out of 103 pro contests, with 19 second-place finishes. For 12 consecutive years, from 1984 to 1996, he’d been crowned vert skating’s world champion.
